Charges against eBay for 'aiding and abetting' sales of contact lenses without the involvement of a qualified optician will be heard in March next year.

At Monday's hearing at the City of London magistrate's court, the internet auction company entered a 'not guilty' plea on ten counts. A case management hearing will take place on 31 January 2006 with the trial set to take place on 6, 7 and 8 March 2006.
