Delivering the Vision

DELIVERING THE VISION - INNOVATIONS FROM THE EYECARE PATHWAYS
17-18 JANUARY 2007, YORK RACECOURSE
Delegates are invited to Delivering the Vision, a major conference and exhibition event focusing on the future of eye care in England and Wales.
 
The two-day event, hosted by the Department of Health and Royal National Institute of the Blind, will showcase the findings from the pilot stage of the NHS Eyecare Services Programme. It will demonstrate how commissioners and practitioners in eye health, social services and the voluntary sector can work together to deliver high quality, integrated, patient-focussed services.
 
Presentations will be given by experts across all sectors. The speakers are:

Anita Lightstone, Head of Service Development and Research, RNIB, Conference Director
Alex Morton-Roberts, Head of Service Improvement and Choice (North East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire), NHS Yorkshire and the Humber
Bryony Pawinksa, Chief Executive, College of Optometrists
Bob Ricketts, Head of Demand-Side Reform, Department of Health
Richard Smith, Vice President, Royal College of Ophthalmologists
Malcolm Swinburn, Chairman, National Association of Local Societies for Visually Impaired People
 
Continuing Education and Training (CET) points have been applied for.
 
Delegate rates
A substantial discount is available to delegates who register early.
 
Fees before 8 November 2006: £150 plus VAT (Voluntary Sector Delegates: £120 plus VAT)
Fees after 8 November 2006: £250 plus VAT (Voluntary Sector Delegates: £175 plus VAT)
