The GOC has agreed to reduce the minimum number of refractions and dispensings required of pre-registration trainees before they apply for the Final Assessment.
From 27 March 2007 the minimum numbers are as follows:
Trainees should continue to build up their experience after applying for the Final Assessment but they may apply once they have reached these numbers.
