Student Retentions

31 May 2007

All current Pre-Registration trainees are reminded that they need to complete and return their retention forms, together with their £20 retention fee to the GOC by 15th July 2007 to cover the registration period 1st September 2007 to 31st August 2008. Trainees should have already received a retention form directly from the GOC if they have not received a form then they should contact the GOC directly to request one or download it from their website.

The GOC advises all pre registration trainees to re-register as students by this date, including those sitting the Final Assessment in June or July. The GOC will reimburse the £20 student registration fee to those trainees who pass the Final Assessment and apply to register as a full registrant before 31 August. Trainees who do not pass their Final Assessment in June/July require continued student registration to cover them for any further attempt(s) at the Final Assessment. The student registration fee will not be refunded to these trainees.
