Shane Canning BSc MCOptom Shane graduated from UMIST in 1989 and has in the past been an optometrist and contact lens optician Pre-Registration supervisor. He is currently a practising optometrist and Specsavers joint venture partner, in both an Optical and Hearcare business, based in Birkenhead. He sits on the College of Optometrists Academic Committee and at a local level he is Chairman of Wirral Local Optometric Committee.

Dr Kamlesh Chauhan PhD BSc MCOptom Kamlesh qualified in 1990 and has developed wide experience of Optometry having worked in private and multiple optometric practice, hospital and university. He is currently the Professional Services Manager for Dollond and Aitchison in Birmingham. Kamlesh also lectures at Manchester University and is a College Examiner. He is also a College Trustee. |

Dr Cindy Tromans PhD BSc MCOptom
Cindy is Vice President of the College and College Trustee. She is Consultant Optometrist and Head of the Department of Optometry at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital. Cindy is the Honorary Clinical Lecturer to the Department of Ophthalmology and Visiting Senior Lecturer to the Department of Optometry and Neuroscience at the University of Manchester. Cindy is a College Trustee, Chairman of the Research Committee, a Pre-Registration supervisor and College Examiner.

Adrian Higgins BSc(Hons) Adrian is Ophthalmic Director for Specsavers, Isle of Man. He graduated from Aston University, Birmingham in 1993 with BSc Hons Ophthalmic Optics.
