We know that our Members don't have the time to scan every optometric journal in order to stay up to date. However, we are also aware of the importance of keeping abreast of what's happening in one's field of interest and in optometry in general. As such, the College provides access to services and publications that seek to meet this need. Two such publications are featured below.

The College Library now subscribes to Eye News: The Bimonthly Review of Ophthalmology. Eye News is a unique publication keeping ophthalmologists and related professionals up-to-date on the latest developments in their field. Practical, accessible and valued by busy professionals, it includes journal and website reviews in every issue, lead articles on topical issues, photo essays, reports from the international conference scene, and more. This publication is also available electronically from the magazine's web site and in print at the College Library. Members wishing to consult past issues can do so by signing into the web site. Please contact the Librarian for user name and password.

Another current awareness resource provided for College Members is High Performance Optometry (HPO). HPO is a bimonthly round-up of what's being published in optometric journals. Members can read the whole issue, or consult the index for coverage of a particular subject.  HPO is available here and requires Members to sign into the College web site.
