Want to know how many sight tests are performed in a year? Need help distinguishing between myelinated nerve fibers and papilledema? Doing some research and need to know what has already been written about the relationship between diabetes and refractive errors? Just contact the Information Specialist at the College Library for answers.


If you need help, and don’t have the time to sift through the Internet or books, we can do the work for you. Enquiries can be anything from a quick question about the name of a particular report, to a comprehensive literature search, and everything in between. 


Quick questions can be answered within the hour, and literature searches can be completed within a few days.

  • Contact Details
  • Question
  • Purpose: I.e practice, research etc
  • Deadline
For literature searches, please include additional information as applicable:
  • Keywords, synonyms
  • Population: age group, geographical area, humans/animals, gender
  • Date range to search
  • Types of materials: Journal articles, systematic reviews, guidelines, government reports etc

 If you are a student and need help with a dissertation or essay, we will provide you with training on how to perform your own literature search.
