To make an appointment please contact the Curator, stating whether you wish to make an appointment to:

  • Visit the Museum (Sutcliffe Room and Giles Room): Free of charge.
  • Use the study / research facilities: Free of charge.
  • Make a guided tour of the College Meeting Rooms: Admission Charge.

...or any combination of these.

Whichever method of contact you choose please bear in mind that, for operational reasons, we cannot guarantee to offer you your first choice of appointment day or time. Please have an alternative date or time in mind. The College Meeting Rooms have a heavy programme of use and so Meeting Room Tours will not always be possible.

Please give your name, contact details, the number of people in your party and the dates and times you would like to visit.

Telephone: +44 (0)20 7766 4353 (direct line with voice mail service in the Curator's absence).

**SPECIAL EVENTS**

  Open House Logo

As part of the annual Open House London event, we expect that the museum and meeting rooms will again be open free of charge and without need for an appointment on Sunday 20 September 2009 between 1pm and 5pm. Just drop-in between those hours and a warm welcome will be assured.

In 2007 we attracted 179 visitors to this event and in 2008 the figure was 219. Will you help us surpass this figure in 2009?

The AGM of the Ophthalmic Antiques International Collectors' Club will be hosted by the museum on Sunday 9 May 2010. For club members this is another excellent opportunity to gain weekend access to the displays.
