About the role
We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Optometry to join our growing academic team:
- Based in the School of Health and Life Sciences, you will contribute to teaching, scholarship, professional practice, enterprise and knowledge exchange within the Department of Allied Health Professionals.
- You will deliver innovative, engaging and effective teaching across our Optometry programmes, contribute to curriculum development, assessment and quality assurance, and provide personal tutoring and pastoral support.
- You will ensure teaching is underpinned by scholarly activity and professional practice, and will contribute to the advancement of the discipline through internal and external collaboration.
- The role also involves contributing to income generation, building external networks, engaging in knowledge exchange and supporting the University’s marketing and recruitment activities.
