Working hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week (20 - 40% on-site, with Wednesdays required on-site)
The College of Optometrists is the professional body for optometry. It qualifies the profession and delivers the guidance and development to ensure optometrists provide the best possible care. We promote excellence through the College’s affixes, by building the evidence base for optometry, and raising awareness of the profession with the public, commissioners, and healthcare professionals.
We are looking for an IT Coordinator who will join our established and busy Finance, IT & Facilities team. The role is responsible for supporting the College’s IT infrastructure and Non-D365 related systems, including O365, SharePoint, asset management and staff training. They will ensure robust IT and data security, compliance, and governance across all systems including assisting with writing of and compliance with IT policies and procedures, the provision of training to college staff and the purchase of equipment for college use. The IT Coordinator will support and participate in technology-related working groups, to ensure IT provides a voice and also, collaborate with college staff and members to achieve successful outcomes for staff and the college.
