Optometry Tomorrow is the College’s annual conference, AGM and exhibition. It is the UK’s leading clinical event for optometrists and therefore a must-attend occasion for all optometrists. If you want to find out about the latest clinical updates, innovations and meet the clinical leaders of the sector, Optometry Tomorrow is the event for you. The conference has gone from strength to strength, with the last conference attracting over 900 attendees from a wide range of work settings.
The interactive CET on offer at Optometry Tomorrow 2018 covers a range of optometrist and therapeutic competencies. The programme is jam-packed with lectures, peer discussions, seminars and workshops covering topics including OCT, dry eye, myopia control, AMD, glaucoma, contact lenses, BV, paediatrics and much more. The conference also includes a range of sponsor sessions offering practical sessions for delegates. Two-day ticket holders will have the chance to gain up to 15 interactive CET points.
We are delighted to announce that Andrew Bastawrous, Co-Founder and CEO of Peek Vision, TED Fellow and Opthalmologist will present the keynote lecture on reducing avoidable blindness globally.
Following his top-rated lecture from the 2017 conference, Kam Balaggan, Consultant In Vitreoretinal Surgery, Medical Retina and Cataract at Wolverhampton Eye Infirmary will be presenting on VMT macular holes at the 2018 conference. The full conference programme will be released in the Autumn.
Our conference includes two social events: a networking drinks reception on the Saturday; and our ever-popular gala dinner on the Sunday – a great opportunity to socialise and network with fellow delegates and friends, speakers and College staff whilst dancing the night away to a live band.
With thanks to our sponsors
