Call for abstracts - poster presentations
As part of Optometry Tomorrow’s commitment to demonstrate how today’s innovation and research leads to tomorrow’s practice, poster presentations will once again bring new developments on all sorts of topics straight to delegates.
Poster presentations provide a unique opportunity for you to talk one-on-one with the individual behind the work, as you can chat to the poster presenter and find out exactly what the work might mean for you.
Anyone is welcome to submit an abstract for a poster presentation at Optometry Tomorrow 2018.
Abstracts can cover research, clinical practice or other relevant initiatives in optometry, vision science and related fields. We are interested in anything relevant to optometrists, opticians, ophthalmologists, educationalists or those working in industries related to eye care.
The emphasis with all poster abstracts should be on what impact the content is likely to have on optometric practice.
Posters will be displayed throughout the proceedings and there will be a prize awarded to one of the poster presenters as part of the College’s Research Excellence Awards.
Abstracts should be submitted to email@example.com, and the deadline for submission is 5.00pm on Monday 30 October 2017.
Please note, poster presenters will need to pay to attend the conference, in addition to their own travel and accommodation, although presenters are eligible for the 50% discounted attendance rate of £170 for a two day ticket. The two day ticket includes one workshop, one peer discussion and access to all lectures and seminars (please note, non-members may only access lectures and seminars). Additional workshop tickets can be purchased at £30 each. If you are not a member of the College or if you book for the conference after the 50% rate ends (31 October 2017) then you will not be able to book online. Instead please call the College events team on 020 7766 4347.
