What types of sessions does the therapeutic stream feature? If I have the IP qualification, does this mean that I can book onto more of these sessions?
All of the sessions within the therapeutics stream will be delivered as seminars (except the peer review session). Please note: only College members with independent prescribing status are permitted to attend the peer review. I don't have the independent prescribing (IP) qualification, can I attend sessions in the therapeutic stream?
Yes, although we will brief the presenters to aim the sessions at those who are IP qualified. The only session which is restricted to only IP qualified members, is the therapeutics peer review session. Please note you can attend the peer review if you are studying towards your IP qualification.
As a benefit to two-day ticket holders, we have included attendance at a peer discussion in that category of ticket, but not in the one-day ticket. With a very limited number of spaces on peer discussions, priority can only be given to those with a two-day ticket.
All lectures and seminars are expected to be worth 1 interactive CET point (unless otherwise stated). All workshops and peer discussion sessions are expected to be worth 3 interactive CET points (unless otherwise stated). The interactive exhibitor sessions are expected to receive 2 interactive CET points.

The workshops/ seminars I want to attend are all shown as full. Will you be adding additional spaces?
Additional workshop spaces on all workshops will be released on 4 December 2018. After this date, if a workshop is shown as full, we will not be adding additional places. However, there will be a dedicated desk at the conference, for you to enquire about any spare places on workshops or seminars.If you have not pre-booked a workshop/peer discussion session, you must check availability and book at the allocation desk prior to the session. If you turn up without booking, you will not be eligible for CET points.
Your final event details will be emailed to you around the end of January/start February 2019.
No. You will collect your name badge and delegate pack at the conference.
On average, you can gain 15 interactive CET points with the two-day member ticket (depending on availability of sessions). If you choose to attend for one day only, you can gain a minimum of six points on Sunday and five on Monday.

The exhibition has grown year-on-year. We expect approximately 30 companies to have stands at the exhibition.

Cancellations must be made in writing before the event. Cancellations received up to Friday 25 January 2019 will incur a 25% cancellation charge; after this date there will be a 100% cancellation charge.If you would like to send a colleague to attend the conference in your place, that is fine. You should phone the Events team on +44(0)20 7766 4377 to give the new attendee's name and booking details. The deadline for amending your booking is Friday 8 February 2019.

Newly qualified members are those who are members of the College and passed the OSCE after July 2015.
