I recently told an older patient, who lives in an isolated area and is very much reliant on his car, that he no longer meets the driving vision standard. He replied that he felt he may as well kill himself. I feel like I should follow this up and was thinking of phoning him to see how he is? Or should I contact the police or his GP?
