The role is permanent for 30 hours/week. Hospital optometry experience is preferred, but we are happy to accept applications from those with no hospital experience or from newly qualified hospital optometrists who are keen to develop their hospital careers.

Main duties of the job:

  • Deliver a range of clinical services to the highest standards
  • Provide safe and effective referral triage and clinical advice
  • Assist in the teaching and training of staff and community partners
  • Undertake clinical audit, research and administrative tasks
