About the practice
This is a unique opportunity for a clinically orientated optometrist to work in a community-based general ophthalmology service run within an optical practice. The practice has an NHS contract to provide routine care in the Community to those patients being referred for further investigation. It acts as an alternative to hospital-based care and focuses mostly on glaucoma / OHT, but also encompasses some retinal and anterior segment investigations and management.

Clinical optometrist required for community ophthalmology service in Windsor. This is a unique opportunity for a clinically orientated optometrist to work in a community-based general ophthalmology service run within an optical practice. Due to increasing patient numbers, we are looking for a clinician or clinicians who ideally already possess the experience and qualifications to manage glaucoma. If you are a relatively newly qualified optometrist at the beginning of your career, support and training are available to develop and gain the necessary qualifications. A minimum of 2 years post-registration experience is necessary. Preference given to those already possessing independent prescribing and college higher qualifications in glaucoma. Salary dependent on qualifications and experience. Full or part time considered.
