Optometrist, Eye Opticians, Birmingham

Eye Opticians is a renowned independent practice in Birmingham. Our practice has been established for over 30 years, with two sites, Edgbaston and Barnt Green. We pride ourselves at being at the forefront in providing the very best customer service to our patients regarding eyecare and eyewear. Both our sites have been fitted with equipment meeting the highest standard in the industry, such as the Heidelberg Spectralis OCT, Zeiss Cirrus OCT, Zeiss Humphrey Visual Field Analyser, Medmont Miridia and VisionX 120. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic optometrist to join our team as we increase our clinics. A range of experience levels would suit the role, but in particular a practitioner who is patient centred and has great communication. You will be fully supported by the reception staff, optical assistants and qualified dispensing opticians. Consultation times range from 30-50 minutes, with flexibility and options to manage and control your own clinic. 

• Full-time but part-time will be considered
• 28 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro-rata)
• Opening hours Tuesday to Saturday 9.00-5.30pm with an hours lunch
• XeyeX computerised patient management system
• Free onsite parking at either practice

• Salary, up to £65,000 depending on experience
