Optometrist, Wigram & Ware, Norfolk

Wigram & Ware, established in 1920, consists of two practices in King’s Lynn & Dersingham, Norfolk. With a rich heritage the practices have a fantastic local reputation for first-class eyecare and patient service. The current team at Wigram & Ware are all fully qualified and have worked to establish a loyal patient base at each practice, driven by their desire to exceed the expectations of individual patients and their families. To support these efforts, Wigram & Ware has also remained committed to developing their people, providing regular staff training and consistently investing in the latest modern technology. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a genuinely passionate team.  

We are looking for a full-time or part-time colleague who is able to work 1 in 3 Saturdays or less. We are closed all Sundays and Bank Holiday. The role will be based across both the Kings Lynn and Dersingham practices to give the variety of both areas. Your rota will be provided 6 weeks in advance to give you plenty of time to plan and there is free parking at both locations. As an independent practice, you will be given longer testing times and the latest technology to help you provide a first-class clinical service to patients, including:   

• Optomap
• OCT
• i-care tonometers
• 40-45 minutes testing times

You’ll be an integral part of our team here and will help us drive our service offering forward, always looking for opportunities to improve and innovate. We’re also looking for someone who shares our dedication to putting patients first and spending the time needed to get to the bottom of their visual needs. Just as important to us is the way you interact with patients. Providing a friendly, informative, and empathetic service is a must.
