Pre-registration placement, PLM Optometrists, Leven

PLM is an independent group of 5 practices based in the Kingdom of Fife. Our core values are clinical excellence, personalised service and quality products. We are passionate about personal and professional development with the team. We are looking for a pre-registration optometrist to work between Cupar & Leven practices (10 miles apart). 

Great equipment and fantastic support from optometrists & other colleagues within the company. 

PLM are involved with local shared-care such as acute care, glaucoma care and specialist contact lenses. We also have a dedicated myopia clinic. We have great links with local hospital service, low vision charity as well as private ophthalmology services. 

As pre-registration optometrist at PLM, you will have access to fantastic equipment and a friendly support team. Experienced supervisors, including main supervisor who has worked as a College Assessor and regularly examines at OSCEs. The professional team includes six IP optometrists and three optometrists with specialist glaucoma qualification. Most desirable attributes for an ideal candidate are; great communication, team working skills and a passion for patient care. 

Position is available in summer 2024, however an earlier start date could be arranged for the right candidate. Previous pre-reg would be delighted to chat to potential applicants.
