Pre-registration placement, Specsavers, Hove

We are a busy, large-sized store based a stones-throw away from Brighton & Hove beaches as well as Hove train station (which has direct routes to London). The store benefits from 5 modern, fully equipped, air-conditioned testing rooms, with console operated phoropters. Each room has remote access to the OCT and fundus imaging system, we also have a Humphrey fields machine. The store is situated on a busy and vibrant shopping street in the heart of Hove which is pedestrianised most of the day, we also enjoy a great selection of street cafes and independent shops.

You will be working in a tight-knit team supervised by an experienced primary supervisor. You will also have the added benefit of input from our team of resident optometrists and optometrist director, all of which combine into 65+ years of experience. You will also be working alongside our more recently qualified optometrists, who can share their experience with you. You will also have contact with the fellow pre reg student from our sister store in Portslade and will have the opportunity to join in with peer review, and training groups. The role allows you to gain dispensing experience as well as performing eye examinations and contact lens work. You will be working 5 days across a 7-day week.
