Marlow boasts a delightful location, with its picturesque setting along the River Thames and the natural beauty of the Chiltern Hills. The town’s combination of historic architecture and modern amenities also makes it a unique and attractive place to work and live. Marlow is close to the A404, M4 and M40, and the A4155 runs through the town centre. You can get to Marlow within an hour from London’s Paddington Station. The store was refurbished in 2020 and we now have three fully equipped short-form test rooms, running 13 clinics per week. Each test room is fitted with latest clinical technology – meaning you have everything you need to perform sight tests to the highest possible standards.

A pre-registration optometrist delivers eye examinations, dispenses spectacles, contact lens services and may be involved in triage processes to a consistently high clinical and customer focused standard, which in turn drives sales, profit and customer loyalty. 

Under the guidance of a registered supervisor, trainees should take responsibility for their own personal training and development as required by The College of Optometrists’ Scheme for Registration.

Our passion for developing the next generation of optometrists and developing the profession means that you will have access to support and training through our Pre reg Academy (PRA). This offers you a number of interactive courses throughout your pre-registration period. This provides you with guidance and learning while on the Scheme to enable you to develop your skills and knowledge and be more successful during this time period.
