Pre-registration placement, Specsavers, Portslade

We are a busy, medium-sized store based a stones throw away from Brighton beach as well Portslade train station with direct routes to London and onsite staff parking.

You will be working in a tight-knit team supervised by an experienced Primary Supervisor for consistency. However you will also have the added benefit of input from two Optometrist Directors as secondary supervisors both with many years experience as both Supervisors and Optometrists. You will also be working alongside our newly qualified Optometrist, who can share their experience with you. The store benefits from modern testing rooms, with all equipment including electric phoropters updated within the last 1-4 years. The retail and Optom team are able to prioritise helping find those crucial patient episodes as you will be the sole Pre Reg in store. However you will also have contact with fellow Pre Reg students in our sister store in Hove and will have the opportunity to join in with their peer review groups. The role allows you to gain dispensing experience as well as performing eye examinations and will be 5 days a week including one weekend day.
