Pre-registration placement, Specsavers, Sutton

Specsavers Sutton is a great store to be a pre-registration optometrist in, as trainees get all the necessary experience and support from the supervisor and team. We have 30 members of staff, including: 

• two directors 
• one manager 
• two assistant managers 
• three optometrists 
• two pre-reg optometrists
• two dispensing opticians 
• one training dispensing optician 
• four receptionists 
• three lab staff members 
• optical assistants and part time staff members. 

We work well as a team and we support each other’s efforts. We are committed to the development of our staff and organise training sessions for our pre-registration trainees to help them through their registration year, and to pass their exams. 

If you are interested in continuous progression to a higher level, you may be able to progress to a senior optometrist role and ultimately to a JVP role.

In store, there are four testing rooms and a hearing testing room, with all the latest equipment. We have  a great mixture of patients of all ages, helping you to gain a wider degree of knowledge. The store is located on Sutton High Street which is a five minute walk from Sutton Station, with great links to London Victoria, Clapham Junction and Wimbledon.
