Introduction
Despite the very significant advances in medical and surgical treatment of corneal and ocular surface disorders, a wide range of conditions is still managed using TCLDs. Some of the situations described in this paper are encountered on a regular basis in a busy ophthalmology department whereas others are relatively rare.
