Lifelong learning and reflective practice

About the session

The concept of lifelong learning has become increasingly recognised and valued in healthcare professions. It is about an individual continuing to develop skills and knowledge throughout their life and career to benefit them both personally and professionally.

This discussion session will help optometrists look at how they can reflect on their current practice and use PDPs to provide a focus and framework to pursue their personal and professional goals.
The session will use case scenarios to help delegates understand how to get the most out of reflective exercises, PDPs and CPD across their career.
