Kiki Soteri MSc BSc (Hons) MCOptom DipTP(IP) FHEA ProfCertGlauc ProfCertMedRet
Trustee, Vice Chair of the Education and Standards Committee, Council Member - South West

Kiki is head of optometry development for Specsavers, external examiner to Cardiff University for postgraduate courses and an honorary associate professor at Plymouth University. During that time, she completed a Masters in clinical optometry with City University which diversified the scope of her clinical provision.

As a lecturer to undergraduates, she developed the UK’s first problem-based learning module for clinical case management in optometry and continues to build on that approach with the ongoing creation and development of CET and CPD assets. Since qualifying as an independent prescriber in 2011, she has encouraged students and colleagues to evaluate and achieve their professional objectives through directed learning, particularly higher qualifications. Kiki is a trustee to the board of The College of Optometrists where she has contributed to various committees and panels.
