We are recruiting for an Early Career Reference Group Representative to join our Guidance for Professional Practice task and finish review group. The Guidance for Professional Practice is reviewed once every three years. Being part of the review, provides representatives with the opportunity to understand our core guidance, collaborate with sector representatives and to influence good optometric practice.
The aims of the review are to:
review the contents of our guidance to ensure it is evidence-based, reflects good practice and is up-to-date
set the guidance out in a clear and accessible way
ensure that optometrists value and use the guidance, and that others with an interest in good optometric practice can also use it for the benefit of the general public.
All meetings will be conducted virtually on MS Teams to support the sector's aims of improved sustainability.
