About the role

Salary: From £65,000 (starting point, pro-rata for part-time) + benefits
Hours: Flexible options available (full-time or part-time)

As an optometrist at our Gants Hill branch, your day will involve:

  • conducting thorough, comprehensive eye examinations and contact lens fittings for a diverse patient demographic
  • actively participating in MECS shared care schemes to manage acute eye conditions within the community
  • growing and managing our dedicated Myopia Management and Orthokeratology (Ortho-K) patient base
  • working collaboratively alongside our friendly, experienced dispensing and practice support staff to ensure a seamless patient experience

About you

  • Fully qualified optometrist registered with the GOC
  • Must be MECS registered (or equivalent acute eye care certification)
  • A strong, genuine interest (or prior experience) in Myopia Management and Orthokeratology
  • A forward-thinking clinician who is passionate about using advanced technology like OCT and topography to provide superior patient outcomes
  • An empathetic communicator who thrives in a community-focused, independent practice setting
