Events terms and conditions

Optometry Tomorrow

Full payment must be received prior to the event. In the event of cancellation, notice must be given in writing at least 10 working days before the event. Such notice will not be deemed to be received unless the College has issued an acknowledgement to the delegate. Delegates will receive a refund less a 25% cancellation fee.

Paid-for events (excluding Optometry Tomorrow)

To book, you must be a College of Optometrists' member at the time of the session. If you need to cancel your place you must do so at least seven days before the event to be eligible for a refund. We will not offer a refund after seven days if we are not able to re-sell your place.

Free member events and webinars

You must be a College of Optometrists' member at the time of the event. If you cannot attend the event, please cancel your place at least five days before so we can allocate you place to another member. Places are often limited, so please ensure you can cancel if you cannot attend. The College reserves the right to limit places, or charge, frequent no-shows.

Marketing terms and conditions

We sometimes have a photographer take photos at our events, which may be used for marketing purposes. If you do not want your image to be used, do not accept the marketing terms and conditions at the point of booking. We will need to take your photo at the event when you register, in order to delete any images you may be in.
