DISCUSSION WORKSHOP:'Talking rubbish'- sustainability for practices and practitioners - CooperVision

Discussion workshop

CPD ref: 101238

Description: Sustainability is a hot topic in our personal lives, but it is less clear how it fits into our practice. What do our patients think about it and expect from their practitioners and optical products? The session will look at understanding the need to adapt and develop a more environmentally friendly way of working, communicating sustainable choices and allay misunderstandings with regards to one-day and monthly contact lens use. It will help you be able to give advice when recommending recycling options of contact lenses and associated products and use professional judgement to analyse and adjust current ways of working in practice to responsibly use materials, re-cycle and save energy.
