Additional workshops for two-day ticket holders
If you are eligible to attend and would like to add an additional workshop booking to your ticket across either programme (on top of workshop inclusions for your ticket type), this will incur a charge of £30-£50 each depending on the added workshop.

Workshops/peer review for one-day ticket holders
If you are a one-day ticket holder and you would like to add a workshop and/or peer review booking to your ticket, this will incur a charge of £30-£50 per added workshop/peer review.

Registration ticket information

College Member tickets include: College Members and Fellows qualified before April 2020.

College Member two-day ticket holders are entitled to one complimentary workshop and peer review place and can purchase up to an additional four workshop places (where spaces are available).

College Member one-day ticket holders can purchase up to two workshop places and can purchase one peer review place (where spaces are available).

To be eligible for the College Member rate, you must be a member of the College at the time of the event.

BCLA Full Member tickets include: BCLA Full Membership, BCLA Retired Membership, BCLA Family Membership, and BCLA Honorary Life Membership.

BCLA Full Member two-day ticket holders are entitled to one complimentary workshop and peer review place and can purchase up to an additional four workshop places (where spaces are available).

BCLA Full Member one-day ticket holders can purchase up to two workshop places and can purchase one peer review place (where spaces are available).

To be eligible for the BCLA Full Member rate, you must be a member of BCLA at the time of the event.

College Newly Qualified Member tickets include: College Members qualified since and/or after July 2020.

Newly Qualified College Member two-day ticket holders are entitled to one complimentary workshop and peer review place and can purchase up to an additional three workshop places (where spaces are available).

Newly Qualified College Member one-day ticket holders can purchase up to two workshop places can purchase one peer review place (where spaces are available).

Please note, this ticket type is available for delegates that are currently a Newly Qualified College Member (since 1 July 2020).

To qualify for the Pre-Registration Trainee ticket you must, at the time of the event, be an enrolled pre-registration trainee. You must also be registered as a Student Optometrist with the GOC.

Please note, College Pre-Registration Trainee Member ticket holders are not eligible to attend:

  • College workshops 
  • College peer reviews
  • College sponsor sessions.

To qualify for the College Student Member ticket you must, at the time of the event, be an undergraduate student undertaking a degree course in optometry from a UK university approved by the GOC OR an EU student completing a conversion course at a UK university approved by the GOC. You must also be registered as a Student Optometrist with the GOC.

Please note, College Student Member ticket holders are not eligible to attend:

  • College workshops 
  • College peer reviews
  • College sponsor sessions.

BCLA Student Member tickets include: BCLA Newly-Qualified Membership, BCLA Pre-Reg Student Membership, BCLA Student Membership (UK undergraduates), and BCLA Overseas Student Membership (non-UK based students).

To qualify for the BCLA Student Member ticket you must, at the time of the event, be an undergraduate student undertaking a degree course in optometry from a UK university approved by the GOC OR an EU student completing a conversion course at a UK university approved by the GOC OR be an enrolled pre-registration trainee.

Trainee CLOs are eligible to receive the BCLA Student Member rate but must first become a Pre-Registration Member of the BCLA. Trainee CLOs that currently have a free Student BCLA Membership will need to upgrade to a BCLA Pre-Registration Membership.

Please note, BCLA Student Member ticket holders are eligible to attend BCLA workshops at an additional charge.

BCLA Student Member ticket holders are not eligible to attend:
