Optometry Tomorrow Conference 2026 ticket giveaway - terms & conditions
1. Organiser
This competition is run by The College of Optometrists, in partnership with the Association of British Dispensing Opticians, the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and the Royal College of Nursing.
2. Eligibility
- Entrants must be current members of The College of Optometrists, the Association of British Dispensing Opticians, the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, or the Royal College of Nursing
- Proof of membership may be requested and verified before tickets are issued
3. Competition period
- The competition will open and close on the dates stated in the promotional post
- Entries received outside of this period will not be considered
4. How to enter
To enter, participants must:
- Like the Optometry Tomorrow Conference 2026 competition post on Instagram, LinkedIn or The College of Optometrists' member community
- Tag two eye care colleagues in the comments on the giveaway post
Entries must be made via the official College social media accounts or member community.
5. Prize
- There are 40 winners, and each winner will receive one two-day ticket to attend Optometry Tomorrow Conference 2026
- The two-day delegate ticket gives you access to all sessions and complimentary meals as per a paid delegate
- Travel, accommodation, and all other associated costs are not included
- Tickets won in the competition are non-transferable*, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash
6. Already purchased tickets
- Individuals who have already purchased a ticket to Optometry Tomorrow Conference 2026 are eligible to enter
- Tickets already purchased are non-refundable, and no reimbursement or exchange will be provided
- *If a winner has already purchased a ticket, they are able to transfer this free 2-day ticket to a colleague
7. Selection and notification
- Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries
- Winners will be contacted via direct message from the official College account or Community account
- Winners must respond within 7 days to confirm acceptance of the ticket
- If a winner does not respond within this timeframe, The College of Optometrists reserves the right to withdraw the ticket and select an alternative winner
8. Attendance and ticket use
- Tickets are allocated on the basis that recipients intend to attend Optometry Tomorrow Conference 2026 on 14–15 June 2026
- Winners must confirm acceptance of their ticket within 7 days of being contacted by The College of Optometrists
- Winners may also be required to reconfirm their attendance by a date specified by The College of Optometrists ahead of the event
- If a winner does not confirm or reconfirm attendance within the required timeframes, the ticket may be withdrawn and reallocated
- If a winner can no longer attend, they must notify The College of Optometrists as soon as possible. Notifications of not attending by 1 June 2026 may result in the winner receiving an invoice for the ticket price
- Tickets won in the competition must not be transferred, resold, or given to another individual
- Failure to attend without prior notice may affect eligibility for future competitions or ticket allocations
9. General
- The College of Optometrists reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw the competition at any time
- The College of Optometrists reserves the right to change the number of tickets available, substitute the prize where necessary, or update these Terms & Conditions without prior notice
- The College of Optometrists reserves the right to disqualify entries that do not comply with these terms
- Decisions made by The College of Optometrists are final

- This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Instagram, LinkedIn, or any other platform used to promote it
11. Data protection
- Personal data will be used only for the administration of this competition and in line with The College of Optometrists’ privacy policy
*Only tickets won by members who have already purchased their own ticket are transferable to another colleague.
