Webinar - Glaucoma Care Reimagined: Empowering Primary Care Optometry

About the event

The NHS Ten-Year Health Plan signals a decisive shift of care from hospital to the community. Primary eye care, present in every community, is central to making that shift real for people affected by glaucoma.

This is a joint sector webinar bringing together The College of Optometrists, LOCSU, AOP, FODO and ABDO and will explore how primary care optometry can play a fuller role across the glaucoma pathway.

Hear from our sector's multi-organisation panel on:

  • new local commissioning and pathway developments
  • the policy and funding landscape
  • equipment and infrastructure decisions for practices
  • the clinical protocol underpinning community glaucoma care
  • the contribution of dispensing opticians and the whole practice team to adherence and improved patient outcomes

This webinar is designed for optometrists, dispensing opticians, LOC chairs and practice owners. Pre-submit your questions and join the live Q&A.
