Case on prescribing medicines off-label

As an IP optometrist, I am considering managing a patient who presented with mild acute dacryocystisis without fever using the systemic antibiotic co-amoxiclav. However, this medicine is not listed in the College’s Optometrists Formulary – does this mean I am unable to prescribe this for my patient?
