This review considers UVR sources and the current applications of such radiation generated by special purpose lamps.
Abstract
This review considers the UVR sources together with the current applications of such radiation generated by special purpose lamps. No apology is offered for emphasising the dangers associated with such devices and the role of the optometrist in preventing and treating any ensuing disorders. To this end details of safe exposure limits are discussed.
