About the role
We are currently recruiting for the role of Visiting Clinical Tutor (VCT) to join the Optometry Department at City St George's, University of London, based at City Sight Clinic in central London. This role involves supervising and supporting 3rd year undergraduate Optometry students as they deliver patient care in a professionally supervised environment.
As a Visiting Clinical Tutor, you will play a key part in shaping the clinical and professional skills of our students.
You will:
- Supervise students in general refraction and specialist clinics
- Provide one-to-one clinical teaching and small group supervision
- Support students in the development of patient management and decision-making skills
- Participate in clinical assessments and student feedback
- Work within a team of highly experienced clinicians with a range of specialisms.
