Optometrist, Pybus Opticians, Canterbury

At Pybus opticians we are looking for a part-time optometrist to join our team. We can offer you a fantastic work environment in a great location in the heart of Canterbury’s King’s Mile. You will work alongside our amazing, experienced team that consists of three dispensing opticians, three optical advisers and two optometrists. We have a busy but varied workday. 

Aside from comprehensive eye testing, we offer MECS and Community Glaucoma Network appointments, hydroxychloroquine screening, myopia control and contact lenses. We have excellent equipment with OCT, Optomap, Humphrey visual fields, colorimeter, Blephex etc.

We offer 30 to 50 minute testing times and put great emphasis on providing personalised eye care tailored to each and every patient, using the latest techniques and state-of-the-art equipment. We have some amazing frame ranges including Lindberg, Tom Davies and Maui Jim and we are Essilor experts when it comes to lenses. And we have also have some great staff discounts! 

We offer 25 days holiday (pro-rata), pension, Saturday mornings only, bank holidays off and even a great Christmas party! Part-time employed preferred but we would consider a regular locum.
