The approach of Dr Priya Morjaria FCOptom to optometry is truly global in its outlook.
She is chair of the World Council of Optometry’s Public Health Committee, Assistant Professor at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), and Head of Global Programme Design for social enterprise Peek Vision. However, as with so many optometrists, her interest in the subject started much closer to home.
