Do you want to contribute to Acuity and help to make it an even more relevant read for College members? Here are four ways you can get involved:

1. Submit a case study

If you have come across an interesting or challenging case in your practice, why not share it with readers of Acuity? Your case study should be approximately 1,000 words long, and illustrated with high quality images. We can provide you with guidance on how to structure it, and a release form for your patient(s) to sign. We pay £250 for each case study we publish.

2. Contribute to our ‘how would you…?’ section 

You can do this by answering the topical question we ask every issue, or suggesting an ethical dilemma you have come across and how you responded.

3. Become a contributor

Why not come forward to be interviewed on a topic – clinical or otherwise – that is of special interest to you? These can range widely from myopia management, managing an independent practice or volunteering to sustainability in eye care, working with children or being an independent provider.

4. Tell us what you would like to read about in Acuity

What would help you and your colleagues in your practice? What are the topics that would help you continue to learn and grow in your profession?
