This article uses case studies to appraise low-vision service provision and how it can be enhanced by a multidisciplinary approach.

Patients attending low-vision services present with many visual, emotional and practical needs which require a range of solutions. The article outlines four case studies which are designed to help readers reflect on their own practice and patient management.
