Description:This is a story about taking hold of your DipTp(IP) title and making it work for you to help take care of the eyes of your community. Qualification is only the beginning. Through a series of clinical cases, the presenter will take you through his IP highs and lows and how to gain the confidence to embed IP into day to day practice

Kevin is a Primary Care IP Optometrist and Director of Specsavers Altrincham, Sale and Urmston. His daily role is dedicated to CUES provision for his 3 practices. He also holds Professional Certificates in glaucoma, medical retina and low vision which facilitates his involvement in other specialist community services. Kevin has a strong educational background and has previously held roles as a Secondary School Teacher, Lecturer in Optometry at University of Manchester and Head of Optometry Development for Specsavers. He also works as a WOPEC lead assessor, College assessor, examiner, facilitator and Optometry development consultant.
