Providing assistance in troubled times

Life doesn't always go to plan. Situations can arise that prevent us from pursuing our career, supporting ourselves and our families, and planning for the future in the usual way. The Benevolent Fund is here to help during difficult times. All it takes is a phone call or an email to get in touch and ask for advice.

Supporting our community

The Benevolent Fund's support is usually financial, to help with an immediate crisis such as an unexpected bill or other expense, or by supplementing income on an ongoing basis to meet regular outgoings. The Fund can also put you in touch with agencies that help with financial management or debt counselling, drug and alcohol services, or the purchase of equipment to meet your specific needs.

The Benevolent Fund will consider any application for help, and any College member in need of support can apply for assistance.

Visit the Benevolent Fund website to find out more, or contact Lynne Brown, Administrative Secretary at or on 01787 223800.
