Women in Vision UK meeting 2022

Volume 24, Issue 1

Abstracts from the online Women in Vision UK Annual Meeting 2022 are presented.

Women in Vision UK (WVUK) is a community interest company founded in 2017 in response to the gender inequality and inequity that exist in ophthalmology and vision sciences. It is a network that aims to champion women working in vision-related sciences, and eye and vision healthcare. One of the ways it achieves this is through the WVUK annual meeting, which members can attend for free. The WVUK meeting provides a platform for women working in vision sciences to showcase their work, to network with peers and to access role models or practical guidance for their own development. It was held on 10 June 2022 as a virtual Zoom conference, allowing equitable access across the UK and for those joining from international placements.
