Case on supplying chloramphenicol as a non-prescribing optometrist

My patient has a superficial corneal abrasion and may be at risk of developing subsequent infection. My practice does not stock chloramphenicol. As a non-prescribing optometrist how can I supply chloramphenicol to my patient for prophylaxis?
