A patient wants to purchase a pair of spectacles using a prescription generated from an overseas app on his smartphone. What would you do?
Scenario
Tyrone, aged 42, comes to your practice to purchase a pair of spectacles. The previous day he had undertaken a sight test via an overseas app on his smartphone which generated a prescription. He tells you his last sight test was around three years ago when he was living in the US and he has never had his eyes examined in the UK.
