Optometrist, UWE Bristol Eye Clinic

UWE Bristol Optometry is looking for optometrists keen to support our final year optometry undergraduates as they complete their university-based clinical training in our state-of-the-art patient-facing clinical facility, UWE Bristol Eye Clinic. UWE Bristol Optometry students gain real life clinical experience in a range of eye care clinics at UWE Bristol Eye Clinic, located on the Glenside campus, including primary eye care, contact lenses, low vision, and binocular vision and paediatric eye care, and will benefit from the input of enthusiastic optometrists with contemporary experience of these areas of clinical practice.

You are an optometrist who knows how enjoyable it is to develop the clinical skills of others and are excited to have the opportunity to make a difference to the next generation of eye care professionals. You want to support UWE Bristol Optometry students and enhance your own skills in clinical supervision and guidance. Your insights and experience of current optometry practice will benefit the development of UWE Bristol Optometry students as they complete their undergraduate training.
