Pre-registration placement, Boots Opticians Abingdon

We are located in Abingdon-on-Thames in Oxfordshire. Abingdon is a pretty market town with the River Thames running through it. There are close by links to M40 into London and also the M4 too. We are a modern well equipped practice with air con, OCT , phoropter, Goldman. We are part of MECS service. We have a great in-store team. There is ample accommodation in Abingdon. The supervisor has been qualified over 20 years, and has successfully passed all his pre reg applicants over the years and likes to take plenty of time training applicants to be confident optometrists. 

The pre reg would be a team player and interested in all aspects of optometry. We are looking for a pre-reg to start around summer 2024 with us. You will have plenty of assistance and we have a good variety of patient types for all the competencies. As we are a Boots store we are customer service focused and this along with teamwork are key skills we look for in the applicant. This is a full time role.
