Pre-registration placement, Specsavers, Bexleyheath
About the practice
LOOKING FOR A 2025 PRE-REG PLACE? Hi, my name is Sachin and I am the partner at Specsavers Bexleyheath. We are looking for two student optometrists to join our professional team in 2025. Our practices are located approximately 25mins from London Bridge/Victoria train stations. We provide seven consulting rooms a dedicated daily contact lens clinic and two daily hear-care clinics. We are one of the largest stores in South East London. We have also relocated our second store which is now brand new. Our practice is fully digital both outside and inside the test room incorporating iPads, Autorefractor, digital phoropters and fundus photography in our test rooms. We also use OCT technology as standard. We are MECS/GLAUCOMA/CATARACT accredited to maximise our shared care credentials and provide our students with clinical exposure. We work closely with the local eye unit to triage most referrals in the community to determine their urgency and onward action.
About the role
Having 15 years of personal experience training future optometrists both myself and my team have a 100% success rate at helping students pass their pre reg year, producing clinically and commercially aware optometrists. You will also have the support of a fellow student for the year. We also have a proven career pathway post qualification. We can help with relocation and provide support to those students who would be interested in joining us from outside London. Having a fellow student alongside you makes sourcing accommodation simple. This is a great opportunity for a couple of friends who worked well together at university and want to carry this relationship forward into their pre reg year.
