Applications invited for Undergraduate Research Scholarships and Travel Bursaries

Our Undergraduate Research Scholarships support appropriate research in the field of optometry and closely related subjects. Their aim is to encourage high calibre optometry undergraduate students in the UK to consider a career in research or academia by sponsoring a short period of experience in an active research laboratory. 

There are four Scholarships available and student members of the College are invited to apply year round on a 'first come, first served' basis from 1 October 2021 until 30 September 2022. 

Travel Bursaries are also now available and are offered to undergraduate students to provide financial assistance to present papers on their research at conferences.
