Volunteer patients required for Optometry Tomorrow 2024

Patients will be paid £25 per session and all travel expenses will be reimbursed.

We are looking for volunteer patients to take part in clinical workshops at Optometry Tomorrow 2024, now incorporating BCLA focus. The conference will take place on 28-29 April 2024 at The Telford International Centre. 

Volunteers will receive a £25 fee per one hour session and travel expenses will be refunded. These practical sessions are designed to help enhance optometrists' skills.

Patients with one or more of the following conditions can apply:

  • keratoconus
  • keratoconus patients who are existing RGP corneal lens wearers
  • concomitant squint (eg childhood eso/exotropia)
  • angle closure
  • a congential incomitancy (eg Duanes/Browns)
  • an acquired incomitancy
  • anterior eye pathology
  • lid malposition, punctal stenosis, epiphora, ectropion, entropion, known nasolacrimal duct obstruction
  • glaucoma.
